All our hats are made with Harris Tweed and are designed to keep out the Scottish weather.  They are warm, practical and comfortable as well as looking good.  All styles are cut on the bias of the tweed meaning that they can stretch to accommodate different sizes of head.

Morag Hat

Our most popular style, this hat is versatile and fits the majority of heads. 

It is fully reversible - Harris Tweed on one side, polar fleece on the other.   The band can be folded or rolled to any depth. 

It was designed for woman, but we have found it is equally popular with men and children. Other colours available - please ask.   This one is pillar-box red tweed teamed with Buchanan tartan fleece.

Head size 56 - 60cm

 

Bréaghà Hat

A traditional pom-pom hat made with Harris Tweed and fully lined with polar fleece.  The band can be rolled or folded to any depth.

This style appeals to both men and women.  Other colours available - please ask.   This one is lilac, purple and grey dog-tooth check teamed with purple fleece.

Head size 56 - 60cm

 

Anna Hat

This is our original style that launched the Anna Macneil business.   It has a 4-segment crown and a shaped and padded bias cut band which keeps the hat comfortably tight against the neck.  It has a polyester lining.

Plain rusty brown tweed.

Head size 55 to 58cm

 

 Hamish Hat

Inspired by the tradtional oilskin sou'wester, this is a really warm and comfortable hat designed to keep out all weathers.  There are ear flaps and an adjustable cord chin strap.  It is fully lined with polar fleece.   The front brim can be turned up.  This style has had the addition of a silicon spray coating to give extra protection from rain. Designed for men, but equally popular with women.

Angus Hat

This hat is designed to sit on top of the head. It is made for a larger head making it particularly suitable for men, but many women favour the style. It has a two-segment crown and a bias-cut band that is padded with polyester wadding making it snug and warm.
